Hosting and access data

OpenAI Sites hosts the website; Cloudflare provides delivery and protection. IP address, time, requested address, browser/device information and security data are processed to deliver the site and prevent attacks. We have not installed visitor analytics, advertising profiles or newsletter collection. Technical providers maintain operational logs under their privacy and data-processing terms.

Cookies and browser storage

Cloudflare uses the security cookie __cf_bm to detect abusive automated traffic. The provider states that it expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. A security check can also store its result in cf_clearance; its lifetime depends on the hosting security configuration. These functions serve security rather than advertising or analytics. We set no optional cookies or new persistent language entries. The former baerehoehli-language local-storage entry is removed when you visit. Your browser can delete or block cookies; this may affect security features.

Optional interactive map

The preview is a local image. Only activating the interactive map connects your browser to OpenStreetMap services and their delivery network. They receive IP address, browser information, time, our website origin and requested map tiles. The OpenStreetMap Foundation in the United Kingdom is an independent controller; tiles are also delivered through Fastly. Activation lasts only for the open page and is not persistently stored. Closing the map or deactivating it in the privacy dialog stops further map requests; it cannot undo earlier transfers. We do not request your device location.

Muggi and travel dates

Muggi answers from the supplied content in your browser. Our application does not transmit messages to an AI model or chat server, or persist them. Conversation and entered dates remain in memory until the page is reloaded or closed. Please avoid sensitive information. Availability checks fetch the general calendar without sending your entered stay to the server. Selected dates reach Airbnb only when you open a dated booking link.

Weather and availability

Our website endpoints provide weather and availability. The server fetches a fixed Axalp forecast from MET Norway and blocked chalet dates from Airbnb without forwarding browser IP addresses, chat text or individual travel dates to those sources. Endpoint requests create ordinary technical hosting data. Public output contains only weather or sanitized blocked dates, never guest or reservation details.

External links and enquiries

Airbnb, Instagram, Google Maps and regional providers are external links. Opening them leaves our site and their own rules apply. Bookings and host messages take place on Airbnb. For direct enquiries we process the contact details and message you provide to answer you and, where relevant, take steps towards a contract. There is no contact form or embedded Instagram feed. Supplied host photographs and selected excerpts of public Airbnb reviews with first names and stay months present the accommodation and guest experiences. People depicted or quoted can also contact us about their data.

Retention

Muggi input remains only for the open page; map activation is not remembered across visits. Security cookies have the lifetimes described above. Hosting providers retain technical logs for operation, security and legal duties under their linked policies. We keep direct enquiries until resolved and longer only for necessary evidence, legal duties or claims.

International processing

Hosting involves OpenAI Ireland Ltd in Ireland and international infrastructure, particularly the United States. The Sites data-processing addendum describes transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions. Cloudflare describes possible US processing of cookie data. Activated maps involve the UK-based OpenStreetMap Foundation and international servers/CDN; their linked information describes locations and safeguards. We do not promise Swiss-only storage.

Legal grounds and your rights

Swiss data-protection law applies, together with the GDPR where applicable. Site delivery/security relies on legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), optional maps on activation/consent (a), and pre-contract enquiries where relevant on (b). Under applicable law you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, object to interest-based processing and withdraw consent for the future, subject to legal exceptions and retention duties. You may complain to the Swiss FDPIC or a competent EU/EEA supervisory authority. We make no automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
