One chalet.
A world of mountain moments.
01 / YOUR HIDEAWAY
Shoes off. Everyday life on pause. Make yourself at home. At Bärehöhli on the Axalp, there is room for time together and moments all your own.
Two floors, three bedrooms with king-size beds, and a terrace with a garden. Bring your family or your favourite people.
A slow breakfast. A good book. An evening you wish would never end.
BETTER TOGETHER
ROOM TO UNWIND
Three bedrooms, places to gather and time together. Take a look around Bärehöhli.

YOUR HOSTS
We have been married for more than 15 years and live near Zurich in Switzerland with our three children, Paul, Silas and Lucie.
Christina works as an operating theatre technician.
Dirk is an entrepreneur whose main focus is artificial intelligence and its applications in software.
We love travelling ourselves. Hawaii, France and Tanzania are among our favourite destinations. Our travels remind us how much a warm, personal welcome matters — and that is the feeling we hope to share with you at Bärehöhli.
We look forward to welcoming you for some lovely time together at Bärehöhli.
02 / YOUR TIME ON THE AXALP
Mountain air and your favourite people.
Explore outside. Come together inside.
GOLDEN DAYS
Autumn light, a good book and time together. A short outing, then cooking back at the chalet. A few days with room to breathe.
LONG EVENINGS
As the evenings draw in, settle into the cosy side of chalet life: cook together, warm up in the sauna and end the evening by the wood stove. The mountains are there to explore, with or without a ski day.
FRESH BEGINNINGS
Share breakfast, discover spring in the valley and unwind up here. As spring progresses, more outdoor outings become possible, depending on weather and snow.
SUMMER OUTDOORS
Hiking trails, alpine meadows and a trip to Lake Brienz. Then barefoot onto the terrace to share the last of the daylight. Bärehöhli is your summer home away from home, too.
Mountain lifts, trails and restaurants operate seasonally. Plan outings around the weather and snow conditions.
